INFORMATION & DETAILS
Always striving to improve our property, we perform regular upgrades. Therefore, property details and/or room facilities may be different from the displayed photos. Although we always try to provide you with the latest information and details, please be sure to check with us on any specifics that may be important to you.
Check-out: 10:00 (failure to do so shall result in The Client being billed for one extra night)
COMPLIANCE WITH ROOM OCCUPANCY
The property shall be for the exclusive use of The Guest.
Upon reservation, The Guest agrees to comply strictly with the booked room occupancy at the time the reservation was confirmed.
The rental of the property is only available to the guests and the number of persons indicated on the booking form or during the exchange of emails.
Subletting and sharing with outsiders are not permitted.
No visitors are allowed, except with the permission of the management.
USE OF THE PROPERTY
The Guest agrees and accepts to use the property responsibly. Any behaviour contrary to laws, good morals, and/or public order will result in The Host asking The Guest to leave the premises. In such a case, no compensation nor reimbursement shall be made by The Host. The Host shall also not be responsible for any damages or prejudice if any. This will be applied automatically and as of right, without The Host having to fulfil any judicial or extra-judicial formality.
Children must be under constant adult supervision as the property does not have child security systems or supervision.
Animals, including pets and strays, are not permitted.
In the event of a promotional code or special offer, these will only be applicable at the time of booking to the service booked and to the total amount confirmed and cannot be applied to any other service that The Guest intends to reserve later unless otherwise agreed between the parties.
Subject to our confirmation, your reservation will be irrevocably binding upon your clicking on “Confirm” on our website.
As we will send you a confirmation of your reservation by email, it is your duty to provide us with an accurate email address. Such confirmation will usually be made within 48 business hours after you submitted your reservation. Our confirmation email will serve as proof of valid reservation and will contain relevant information about the reservation. If you do not receive such confirmation, please notify us by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please read and check carefully all the information contained in our confirmation email to ensure that it conforms to your reservation. You are required to present your confirmation email when checking in at ChamGaia, in addition to a valid passport or ID.
PAYMENT OPTIONS & CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
A deposit of 100% is required to be paid on confirmation of the booking via bank transfer OR credit card. We will send you the instructions on how to proceed, in accordance with your preferred mode of payment.
Your booking is kept on hold for a maximum of 5 days until we receive your deposit. We will not be able to guarantee your booking past this date.
When a bank transfer is made, please ensure that your payment is net of any charges.
For all transactions, payment of the booking shall constitute signature and express acceptance of the sale with all that is included in the price.
Please note you will be required to show your passport or ID and credit card upon check-in. The credit card holder needs to be present. If your prepayment was done by credit card, the credit card needs to match the one used to guarantee the booking. In case the booking is done by another cardholder, other than the guest, we will need proof such as a credit card copy (recto/verso) of the cardholder, a correspondence of the cardholder allowing us to use their credit card and ID or passport of the cardholder.
- Up to 14 days prior to arrival: no cancellation fee, your deposit will be refunded
- As from 14 days prior to arrival: no refund. Your deposit will remain at your disposal for a rescheduled stay, in case of 'force majeure'. An official proof will have to be submitted.
- No show or unexpected departure: 100% of your deposit will be charged
All prices listed on this website are in MUR.
Cancellations will not be processed unless we receive an official cancellation request by mail on our mail address: email@example.com.
After you have cancelled a booking, you will receive an email to confirm your cancellation at the e-mail address you provided at the time of booking.
To prevent any fraud, refunds (when applicable) will only be made to the credit card or bank account used to secure the original booking. Any booking /bank and/or credit card charges applied will be at The Guest’s expense.
Applicable procedure in case of flight delay/cancellation or due to unforeseen circumstances (including cyclones)
Guests arriving on delayed flights but leaving on the scheduled date of departure: the whole stay will be charged with no compensation.
Guests arriving on delayed flights but spending the number of nights originally booked (subject to availability) at ChamGaia (i.e., delay = extension): the whole stay will be charged with no compensation.
Guests arriving on scheduled date but extending their stay at ChamGaia due to non-operating flights: the extra nights will be charged at the same rate as the ones The Guest booked at the time, he/she confirmed the reservation. This is to be paid directly at ChamGaia upon the moment The Guest decides to extend.
At the time of check-in, The Guest will be requested to fill in and sign a registration form upon arrival.
At check-in, a damage deposit of €500 (or its equivalent in Mauritian Rupees) will be required. You are therefore required to present a valid credit card at the time of check-in, in your name. This deposit will be taken in the form of a debit authorization on your credit card. The authorisation will be cancelled no later than 10 (ten) days after your departure, provided that no damage to the property has occurred during your stay.
An inventory of the premises is made on arrival and departure. You are given 12 hours after entering the accommodation to report any irregularities in the initial inventory, otherwise, the premises will be considered to have been handed over to you in the condition mentioned.
We can propose a range of services on site.
1. Direct services
You can book a few services directly with our team. These services will be payable upon check-out at the current rate in cash in MUR. Note some services need to be requested at least 24 hours in advance and remain subject to availability.
2. Reservation for outdoor activities or services provided by other companies
Our team can book your activities or services provided outside ChamGaia, such as taxis, boat trips, swimming with dolphins, bicycle rentals, etc...
No additional costs will be charged.
The rates and service conditions are those of the contractor and are independent of our company. Payment for the activity must be made directly to the operator.
